Product Updates
Launch of human.tech
We launched the human.tech brand in February, a new identity built around our mission to make the internet more private and human-friendly. The launch coincided with the acquisition of Gitcoin Passport (Passport XYZ) and marked our evolution from a privacy-focused zk identity protocol (Holonym) into a broader ecosystem solving real-world Sybil resistance and identity challenges.
The acquisition was covered across the web, with CoinDesk, Cointelegraph, and Decrypt highlighting our plans to build the world’s largest proof-of-humanity network. Markets Insider, Biometric Update, and The Defiant echoed the move as a major step toward a human-first internet, where trust, privacy, and usability coexist. Coverage also extended across web3-native media, with strong features in CryptoDaily and Hackernoon.

After the acquisition, we had a total of 2.1M users and 34.5M of credentials generated with products broadly adopted in the web3 ecosystem and bringing monthly revenue to the company. human.tech is the backbone of the brand, bringing together the vision and goals of the whole organization. It’s here that we post about our aspirations, inspirations, roadmap, team, events, and culture. You can read more about the new brand and our vision on the human.tech blog.
Campaigns
Covenant and Manifestation Campaign
Later this quarter, we introduced the Covenant of humanistic technology, a living artifact that consolidates our mission and culture. It invites technological, scientific and cultural contributors to share, shape, and spread the values of human-centric technology, privacy, and digital rights.

The Covenant is the beginning of a broader cultural campaign, Manifestation, a soft-power move to position human.tech as a leader in the emerging conversation around ethics, identity, and digital dignity. You’re welcome to start manifesting with us by joining the community, reading the covenant, and submitting your own artifacts: writing, visual, or any other format that fits to express your thoughts.

While people were creating and submitting artifacts at the human.tech booth at Funding the Commons, we were giving away Covenant copies to take home
Stellar Grants
We submitted an application for the #34 round of Stellar Community Fund (SCF). The community voting took place in March with main communication happening on Discord.
Partnerships and Collaborations
Refunite
We’re collaborating with Refunite, a global aid organization and missing person platform, to simplify user onboarding and build infrastructure for blockchain-based payments. Right now, we’re piloting and iterating directly with the Refunite team; once refined, we’ll do the same with tribal leaders on the ground, bringing a secure and easy way to receive aid funds to thousands of people.
Human Passport
Product Updates
Acquisition and Rebrand
Alongside the launch of human.tech, we publicly announced the acquisition of Gitcoin Passport (Passport XYZ), now Human Passport. Passport is a business unit of its own with over 2M users, over 35M credentials, and over 120 dApps integrations and partners in the Ethereum ecosystem.
This acquisition unifies our efforts under one vision: building the foundations of digital human rights, in web3 and beyond. As part of this rollout, Passport got a new name and website. You can learn more about the Passport’s journey in the Founder’s Letter.
Base Model Support
We’re preparing to add Base as one of the supported networks in our model set, enabling activity from this L2 to contribute to the Ethereum Activity stamp. With usage on Base growing rapidly, it’s a key vertical for both users and projects. More details on the rollout coming soon.
Migration to Human Network
Over the coming months, Passport’s 35 million credentials will be gradually migrated to the Human Network. We kicked off the process at the end of March by shifting Passport’s zero-knowledge hashes onto the Network, stress testing its architecture for further growth.
Passport Embed
Human Passport is preparing a major release next quarter: Passport Embed. Currently in closed alpha, it’s on track to kick off beta testing around mid-May. Embed will allow partners to integrate Passport directly into their own sites or apps, bypassing redirects and extra steps.
The demo page is live, and we’re actively scouting early partners. Interested teams can fill out this short intro form to get involved.
Human ID merge with Human Passport
Human ID (previously Zeronym) currently runs as a standalone product, using Human Wallet for its verification flow. Moving forward, it will be integrated into Human Passport, combining both systems into a unified proof-of-personhood solution. Why not, it’s a match made in heaven, and the two systems were in close collaboration for a long time.
Campaigns
Story Airdrop
That same month, Human Passport (formerly Gitcoin Passport) helped secure Story Protocol’s airdrop. It was a major campaign with real impact, defending $98M and 79,000 users from Sybil attackers. Passport was used as a key eligibility requirement, filtering out fake accounts with a score below the threshold of 20. The case study detailing the outcomes and insights from this campaign is in preparation.
Gitcoin Grants (GG23)
We once again stepped in to help secure Gitcoin Grants, using our model-based Sybil detection. Once upon a time, Passport was born out of Gitcoin’s need to protect grants from Sybil attacks, and we're still actively contributing to that mission. On top of defending the ecosystem, we’ve participated too. In March, we submitted our grant application; the community voting lasted until April 16.
Partnerships and Collaborations
Predicate
We bring native Predicate support to Human Passport. Developers can now define onchain rules like “must have a Passport score above 20” or “must hold a specific stamp” without relying on offchain logic or trusted servers. It's a step toward programmable, transparent Sybil defense, expanding use cases for DAOs, airdrops, games, and beyond. Full announcement is available on human.tech blog.
Kernel and Kelp
We partnered with Kernel DAO to provide Sybil resistance for the Kelp x Kernel Season 1 campaign that happened in February. Human Passport was used to filter out fake wallets and low-quality participants through layered verification, including cluster analysis, known Sybil list checks, and cross-chain activity scoring.
Bondex
Rolling up Passport's verifiable credentials and scores into broader reputation scores has proven to be a great use case, and an easy win for identity providers in the space.
Plum
We partnered with Plume Network to support their airdrop, ensuring fair distribution by identifying unique humans and Sybil clusters in their wallet allocation list.
Base Integration
Users can now mint their Unique Humanity Score & Stamps on Base, enabling builders to integrate Sybil-resistant identity with just one line of code. Base’s rapid growth makes it the perfect ecosystem for onchain humanity data
• Builders can block Sybils with just one line of code → docs.passport.xyz
• Users have 40+ credential options to prove humanity (score 20+) → support.passport.xyz
• Model-based detection on Base is coming very soon! We will also include Base into our cross-chain aggregated model.
Human Network
Product Updates
Mainnet Alpha Release
In early February, a few days after the human.tech launch, Human Network (formerly Mishti Network) went live as an AVS (Autonomous Verifiable Service) on EigenLayer and Symbiotic, with $1.4B in re-staked ETH committed, tapping into the shared security of the biggest restaking ecosystems in crypto. EigenLayer alone is securing over $14B, Symbiotic hit $1.4B TVL in its first month; we're now part of that stack.
In the meantime, we are actively finetuning the network’s performance, getting ready for new integrations, with Human Passport’s migration starting by the end of March.
EigenLayer
We partnered with EigenLayer to deploy Human Network as an Autonomous Verifiable Service (AVS). At launch, the network was secured by over $1.4B in re-staked ETH, providing a strong economic layer for operating the core logic of Human Key Infrastructure (HKI).
Symbiotic
We also partnered with Symbiotic, making Human Network one of the first AVSs on the protocol. Symbiotic’s modular architecture gives us more flexibility in how the validator set is defined and how restaking is configured for Human Key Infrastructure. This deployment supports the same onchain key infrastructure while allowing for a more customisable staking and coordination model.
Human Wallet
Product Updates
Alpha Release fighting Blind Signing
After rapid iterations, we released the alpha version of Human Wallet (formerly Silk Wallet) in late February — designed to eliminate blind signing and reduce wallet-level attack surfaces. The timing followed the $15 billion Bybit blind signing exploit, and Human Wallet quickly became one of the most-discussed fixes across the space.
The launch was picked up by HackerNoon, which called it a “radical security fix,” and U.Today, which highlighted how Human Wallet “makes blind signing attacks impossible.” Coverage also appeared in Crypto Daily, AltcoinBuzz, The Defiant, and BeinCrypto, framing it as a meaningful step forward for secure web3 UX. Additionally, DL News featured an in-depth interview with Shady El Damaty, co-founder of Holonym Foundation, discussing the vision and development behind Human Wallet. This interview provides valuable insights into the project's goals and the challenges it aims to address in the web3 space.
Browser Extension
Since mid-March, the browser extension is live and ready for testing. The dev team kindly asks you to stress-test the hell out of it to make sure no user can ever break it. You can send the feedback over in the builders’ chat on Telegram.
Blockaid integration on Human Wallet
We added Blockaid integration to support transaction simulation, as part of our effort in preventing blind signing, and other attacks that will be effectively safeguarded by 2PC.
2FA with External Hardware Wallet
You can now link an external hardware wallet that will be used for signing incoming messages. It’s another mechanism helping users stay secure and avoid approving malicious transactions. You can read more about it here.
